how will you love in the forest / stranger of clay and cloth?
the other body is my debut book of poetry and was published by Guillemot Press in 2021. It has been called ‘profoundly ecopoetic’ and ‘an assured, knowledgeable body of work’.
Reviews: Sphinx, Billy Mills.

About the other body
Written in conversation with snails, slime moulds and spookfish, the other body sees Flo Reynolds explore inter-species relationships and the ways in which the human body is inextricable from worlds beyond its perception.
By turns playful and contemplative, the central sequence coalesces and disassembles into something like love poems, equally for creatures embodied in “tissue + rib + aura” and those whose forms are wondrously different.
“she writes her self into the physical, casts bodies as dewdrops on spiderwebs.”
Jennifer A. McGowan
“Reynolds’ work here is profoundly ecopoetic, an attempt to integrate the world in verse.”
